Employer COVID-19 Refund Scheme

Revenue have worked with DEASP to offer an option for employers to facilitate the payment of the COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment through the normal payroll process to temporarily laid off employees. Employers will be fully refunded on a “next day basis” by Revenue for these payments to employees. Employers must apply first to Revenue to operate the scheme before making payments to employees in this regard.
