Elaine Farrell FCA, CTA, CTA AITI, TEP, LLB

Elaine is a founding partner of Farrell & Farrell Chartered Accountants during early 2007. Elaine is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, is an Irish AITI Chartered Tax Adviser and is a UK Chartered Tax Adviser. Elaine is a member of an elite group of individuals on the whole island of Ireland who has achieved professional taxation qualifications in the UK and Republic of Ireland and is well placed to advise on cross-border taxation matters. Elaine advises local and more far reaching owner managed businesses, cross-border corporate groups, high net worth individuals, etc in both the UK and Ireland on taxation matters and also provides cross-border tax consultancy services to other accountancy and legal practices.
Elaine lectures on various aspects of Irish and UK taxation to other professional accountants and tax practitioners and previously lectured taxation over several years for Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Elaine is a graduate of Queen’s University of Belfast achieving a First Class Honours Degree in LLB Law & Accounting. She joined Arthur Andersen’s Dublin taxation department in 1999 and became qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and also achieved her ROI taxation professional qualifications with the Irish Institute of Taxation (CTA AITI). Elaine returned to N. Ireland specialising in UK and ROI cross border taxation and during this time Elaine undertook and achieved the UK Chartered taxation professional qualification in 2006 (CTA). To top off Elaine’s qualifications she also became a member of the prestigious STEP organisation in 2009 which is an organisation for Trust and Estate Practitioners. During 2021 Elaine successfully completed the Chartered Accountants Ireland Customs and Trade course. Another string to her bow! Elaine is therefore unique in her professional qualifications and is best placed to advise on all taxation matters personal or corporate.

Jayme Farrell FCA, BSc, Dip

Jayme is a founding partner of Farrell & Farrell Chartered Accountants during early 2007. Jayme offers expertise in bringing value to businesses particularly family owned businesses. Jayme now has a wide portfolio of advisory clients across the island of Ireland and Great Britain and has significant experience and expertise in the area of business improvement & development, identifying growth areas, reporting on cost analysis, strategic cost saving projects, corporate finance, business planning/forecasting, business valuations, as well as general business development and support.
Jayme is a graduate of Queen’s University of Belfast achieving a First Class Honours Degree in BSc Accounting. Jayme then completed the post graduate Diploma in Accounting in 1999 before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit & Business Advisory Department and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (FCA). Jayme later commenced a financial accounting role in industry within the multi-national Glen Dimplex Group during which time he gained first-hand experience in industry and accounts reporting, budgetary forecasting and world class manufacturing.

Wendy Branagan BSc ACA

Wendy is a qualified Chartered Accountant having originally trained in Dundalk and subsequently joining the Farrell & Farrell team in 2013. Wendy has extensive experience and knowledge in cross border services including accounts preparation, Companies House/CRO compliance and general taxation compliance on both sides of the NI/ROI border. Wendy works with a diverse client portfolio delivering a wide range of accounting and taxation services to clients across many sectors, acquiring particular expertise within the leisure, engineering, and construction industries in both the UK and Ireland.
Wendy is a graduate of University of Ulster in BSc (Hons) in Accounting.

Carolyn Hanna BSc MIATI
​
Carolyn joined Farrell & Farrell Chartered Accountants in June 2009 and qualified as an ATI Accounting Technician. Carolyn has a breadth of knowledge in UK & Irish cross-border payroll, Company Secretarial services UK/ROI and Construction industry taxes - CIS/RCT. Carolyn also assists in both the accounts preparation and general tax function of the practice as well as playing a central role in overseeing customer relations within our practice.
