ROI: Increased Cost of Business (ICOB) Grant

As part of the Irish Budget 2024, a once-off Increased Cost of Business (ICOB) grant was announced to help with business costs. The grant is available through local authorities who will contact eligible businesses directly via a letter which outlines all requirements. The closing date for registration is tomorrow (Wednesday 1ST May).

 

  • Businesses who paid commercial rates up to €10,000 - will receive 50% of the amount paid in commercial rates.

  • Businesses with commercial rates between €10,001 & €30,000 – will receive a fixed amount of €5,000.

  • Businesses with commercial rates of more than €30,000 are ineligible for the ICOB Grant.
