COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment

DEASP have made available a €203 per week flat rate social welfare payment to employees and self-employed people who are unemployed or have had their hours of work reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This payment is for a maximum 6 week period. During this time individuals will be required to apply for the normal Jobseekers payments. To qualify for this payment you must be aged between 18 and 66 years and have lost employment due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
