UK: VOLUNTARY NI CONTRIBUTIONS DEADLINE EXTENDED

HMRC have announced yesterday that the deadline for making voluntary National Insurance contributions to make up for gaps between tax years April 2006 and April 2017 has been further extended to 5 April 2025.


This will give taxpayers more time to consider whether it is beneficial to their State Pension entitlement to fill in gaps in their National Insurance record.
