UK VAT DEFERRED PAYMENTS - REMINDER

The UK VAT payment deferral period put in place by the Government to help businesses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic has ended on 30 June 2020.

Any UK VAT payments that were therefore deferred between 20 March 2020 and 30 June 2020 will need to be paid in full on or before 31 March 2021.

All VAT payments due after 30 June 2020 will need to be paid to HMRC on time.  Any direct debits that were cancelled during this deferral period will need to be set up again before the next VAT payment deadline.

If you are unable to pay your VAT liability please contact us or contact HMRC directly to discuss setting up a payment plan in this regard.
