UK Self Employment Income Support Scheme (“SEISS”)

HMRC have started contacting people whom they have identified as eligible for SEISS.


There is also an online eligibility check available.


Claims will be open from 13 May 2020 and payments will be received into claimant’s bank accounts from 25 May 2020 (ahead of the original June schedule).


Those who are eligible will be able to claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their average trading profits (over tax years 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19) up to a maximum of £7,500 paid in a single instalment.
